This program provides valuable insights into professional software and AI development, serving as an important stepping stone toward internships and potential employment with us.

Responsibilities

As a Precision Extern, your primary focus is personal growth and learning—there are no formal deliverables required. You'll join us virtually or occasionally in person, engaging in self-directed study guided by our experienced professionals.

You'll gain firsthand exposure to industry best practices and tackle real-world challenges alongside seasoned developers. Through personalized mentoring, we assess your current skills and offer targeted guidance to accelerate your growth.

Externship Structure

Each externship is customized to your individual learning objectives and availability, with sessions conducted virtually via Zoom or in person at our Avalon Park office in Orlando, FL.

Your experience may include:

  • Shadowing developers tackling real-world projects.
  • Identifying your strengths and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborative coding challenges based on past client projects.
  • Personalized mentoring on professional software development practices.
  • Curated online learning resources for building industry-relevant skills.

In addition to scheduled interactions, you’ll invest independent study time between sessions to maximize the benefits of your externship.

Topics include:

  • Object-Oriented Programming and Design (real-world applications)
  • C# and ASP.NET project experiences
  • Scrum and Agile Development methodologies

Each interactive session will last approximately one hour, and additional independent study time is recommended to enhance learning outcomes.
